Set the room targets
Established geometry, isolation, and response targets for label-grade writing and production work.

Overview
A reference writing and production room for Warner Music Group's Rio de Janeiro headquarters, engineered to deliver world-class monitoring at compact scale.
Decoupled construction, slatted timber diffusion, and concealed bass control deliver a flat, focused listening environment around an SSL console and Neumann monitoring chain.
Integrated artist artwork, instrument displays, and a working creative space are all part of an acoustic design that supports both heads-down production and label-led sessions.

Process
01
Established geometry, isolation, and response targets for label-grade writing and production work.
02
Constructed an isolated room-within-room within the office envelope to remove building noise from the work.
03
Layered slat diffusion, bass control, and broadband absorption to land a flat, focused response at the engineer position.
04
Aligned the SSL desk and Neumann monitoring with measurement before turnover.
