Overview

Project Summary

Performing ArtsEntertainmentHospitality

A 3,200-capacity multi-purpose theater inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, engineered to host residency concerts, boxing, and televised events on the same infrastructure.

Massive structural isolation protects the surrounding hotel tower from low-frequency energy during sold-out shows, while interior treatment shapes a reverberation profile tuned for amplified music and broadcast capture.

Custom rigging zones, broadcast tie-lines, and a flexible PA strategy give the room the range to move between intimate theater, full-scale concert, and live televised production.

What we did

Venue acousticsStructural isolationBroadcast infrastructurePA system designRigging coordination

01

Set programmatic targets

Defined the acoustic and isolation criteria across residency, sporting, and broadcast use cases.

02

Isolated the venue

Engineered the structural and envelope assemblies to keep low-frequency content out of the hotel tower above.

03

Shaped the room

Placed absorption and diffusion to deliver predictable decay for amplified music and televised capture.

04

Commissioned the systems

Verified PA performance and isolation in live operation before opening.
