Judson's Live

Project Summary
Overview
Judson's Live at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts was designed as an intimate performance venue that delivers exceptional sound quality within an elegant architectural setting. Opened in 2024, the space was created to provide audiences and performers with an immersive live music experience, where acoustics play a central role in every performance.
Criterion Acoustics provided acoustical consulting and design services, working closely with the project team to develop custom acoustical solutions that seamlessly integrate with the venue's architecture. Through detailed acoustic modeling and the design of high-performance wall and ceiling treatments, the space was carefully tuned to achieve balanced sound, controlled reverberation, and outstanding speech and musical clarity. The result is a refined performance environment that enhances both the artistic experience and the architectural character of one of Orlando's premier performing arts destinations.
