Brooklyn Technical High School contracted Criterion Acoustics (CA) to design the A/V system and provide complete construction documentation including electrical and conduit engineering. As the second-largest public auditorium in New York City (to only Radio City Music Hall), Brooklyn Tech presented a unique challenge.

CA utilized computer modeling to confirm the loudspeaker coverage would be uniformly distributed over the audience seating areas and avoid strong reflections from the side walls. CA worked with the integrator, Masque Sound, to install performance audio/video system and presentation systems, This system offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience on professional level equipment.

CA provided DSP programming of the Peavey Media Matrix system in addition to system calibration.
