A pioneering presentation facility called for sound to match its
incredible visual impact. The AT&T Executive Briefing Center selected
Criterion Acoustics to perform complete audio systems design and DSP
programming.
AT&T has opened its Executive Briefing Center (EBC) at their world
headquarters in Dallas. The 26,000 square-foot facility applies the latest
presentation technology – including a first-of-its-kind 10’ x 10’ x 10’ digital Cube comprising 288 ultra-high-definition monitors equipped with presence-detection sensors — to educate executives on all the benefits of AT&T business solutions.
Criterion Acoustics (CA) was chosen by AT&T to ensure that the EBC’s audio is equal to its stunning visual presentations. CA provided complete audio systems design and DSP programming for the center: Its high-level visitors experience precision immersive sound via 120 channels of audio, with 72 channels of discrete playback. The Meyer D-Mitri network-based digital audio processing and distribution platform was selected by CA as the audio system backbone.
